If the words aren’t coming or you feel you’ve lost your way, I can help. I listen carefully and adapt to your needs. I support you along the way. I’m a published author and understand: I’ve been there. Every writer is an editor—we all rewrite, tear up, and start again. But we also all need another pair of eyes to make the words work. If you want your words to sing, contact me.
I started as a science journalist and still am one at heart. Writing about the natural world and the human interface has always fascinated me, whether it be the potential effects of a proposed mega-casino on the wetlands of Middleborough, Massachusetts, or innovations in training fearful dogs.
For the past 30 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of people, helping them find their voice and say what they mean. I’ve edited award-winning books, assisted field scientists in communicating the implications of their research, and coaxed dog-training articles out of people who say they hate to write. I work from home on a Mac via email, phone, “track changes” (in Microsoft Word), and comments on Adobe PDF files.
I’ll be happy to discuss any project with you. Just contact me, and I’ll get back to you right away.
